Here is a quick Autumn hand print craft the kids will love! You can get a bit fancier with your version of the project by cutting out a tree trunk from construction paper, coloring more in the scene or using more/bolder colors of paint. For this quick project idea we used finger paint and simply drew a base for a tree trunk on some brown card stock (kraft paper card stock). For an added touch, color the grass below, add a cute birdie or even some apples.
The tree above we just made again because the last time we tried making this project, the paint we used didn’t show up every well (I think it was finger paint). So I wanted to show you a new version. You can use whatever paint you like, but thicker craft paint shows up better. Paper cut out hand prints are a great alternative too.
