Get out the scissors, crayons and glue and get ready to make a fun car craft and talk about the letter C. The letter C is one of the difficult letters for many preschoolers to grasp because it has both the S and K sounds. Today’s project focuses on cars, and the “kah” sound of the letter C. You can use paint or markers instead of crayons if you’d like and you can add extra embellishments if your preschooler if feeling extra artsy.
Supplies you need to make the C is for Car craft:
- 1 Paper plate
- 1 piece of cardstock or thick paper
- Crayons
- Glue
- Scissors
How to make the C is for Car craft:
- Cut the paper plate to make a letter C
- Cut the paper to create a rectangle, we’ve added a rounded edge to one corner for the car hood
- Using the remaining paper, cut two circles for wheels and two smaller circles for hubcaps
- Color each of the individual pieces
- Glue pieces in place as show in photo
