The purpose of the course is to introduce students to a broad range of skeletal tissues. This module focuses on the synthesis of a variety of natural (and unnatural) compounds of relevance to biology and medicine, with particular reference to the goals and achievements of contemporary organic synthesis as illustrated by a range of case studies. I’m really glad that I studied there; I couldn’t have picked a better place and it's one of the reasons that I’m still in science.
